I’m Rajesh Kumbhat, but all my friends call me Raj. I’m the son of a Technically sound and Printing expert and have always had a love for quality printing and a strong passion for design. I followed my interests to Invitations Designs and coordinated stationery where I honed my skills at my own printing house. While there, I developed an affinity for color theory, printmaking and quality sense. I graduated from Rajasthan University as Commerce student.
I started Universal estd.1975 as a means to create handmade and offset wedding designs and coordinated stationery. I created handmade paper invitations, scroll invitations and add on items with bothoffset and screen printed apparel that I sold online from last 10 years. A couple years back in 1997, I married my love, Rupal. We had a simple, handmade wedding invitations with offset printing creativity where I also use screen printed stationery and made all the decorations. I started blogging that year to document and share all of my wedding creations with my out-of-town family and friends. My brand has evolved over time and now it has become universalto cater.
I am also a freelance graphic designer and create social stationery, logos, branding, invitations design, posters, labels and many more with required wedding add on items. I enjoy long drive with my Bianci bicycle, playing cricket every Sunday for 3 hours, crazy for music and dance with selected movies and many more.
